Products and catalog

Floor coverings, photos, attachments. Reorder point drives the low-stock notification.


Products are the floor coverings and related materials you sell. The list is at sidebar → Products (/products).

Common tasks

  • Browse products
  • Create a product
  • Upload product photos
  • Attach files

Browse products

Sidebar → Products. The list shows SKU, name, manufacturer, type, and quantity on hand.

Create a product

  1. Click New product.
  2. Fill in SKU, Name, Product type (LVP, hardwood, tile, etc.), and Selling unit (box, square foot, linear foot, etc.).
  3. Click Create.

The product opens on its Details tab. Fill in the rest (manufacturer, description, cost, MSRP, dimensions) from there.

Upload product photos

  1. Open the product → Photos tab.
  2. Click Upload product photos, or drag files onto the drop zone.
  3. After upload, drag photos to reorder. The first photo is the primary image.
  4. Save.

Attach files

  1. Open the product → Attachments tab.
  2. Add files (any format). Include a short label if helpful.
  3. Save.

Product fields reference

The detail page has four tabs.

Details tab

  • Manufacturer
  • SKU — required.
  • Status
  • Name — required.
  • Product type — LVP, hardwood, tile, etc.
  • Description
  • Color
  • Style / collection
  • Width / Length — inches.
  • Thickness — millimeters.

A red Delete product button sits in the top-right of the form.

Stock & pricing tab

  • Selling unit
  • Coverage per unit
  • Quantity on hand — required.
  • Reorder point — required. Drives the low-stock notification (see Automated notifications).
  • Default unit cost
  • Default unit price
  • Storage location
  • Active (sellable / visible) — controls whether the product appears in pickers.

Photos tab

Drag-and-drop ordering. First photo is primary.

Attachments tab

Free-form file attachments (data sheets, warranty cards, care instructions).
