Is the free plan really permanent, or is this a trial in disguise?
Permanent. Starter is a full system for one-person shops: customers, quotes, invoices, calendar, manual payment recording — all unlimited inside the plan's caps (25 active customers, 1 user, soft warning at 5 active jobs). If you never need a crew, online payments, or QuickBooks sync, you never need to pay us. Pro is there for when those features start paying back the $49.

Does it work on my phone in the field?
Yes, in any modern browser. There's no native iPhone or Android app yet — the web app is what installers actually use day-to-day. Add it to your home screen and it opens like an app.

Which accounting and payment tools do you support?
QuickBooks Online for the books and Stripe for online payments today. QuickBooks Desktop isn't supported. More providers (PayPal, Square, QuickBooks Payments) are on the roadmap. If you'd like a specific one, email us — what shops actually ask for is what we build next.

What happens if I cancel Pro?
Open Settings → Subscription → Manage. Cancellation takes one click — no phone call, no retention rep, no email loop. Your Pro subscription stays active through the period you've already paid for; after that, billing stops and your shop reverts to Starter. Customers, quotes, invoices, and history stay where they are. No refund on the paid period, but no surprise charge either.
