Signing in and account access

Accept an invite, sign in, reset a forgotten password, sign out.


Accepting an email invitation

If your shop owner invited you:

  1. Open the invitation email and click the link. The link is valid for 7 days.
  2. On the accept-invite page, choose a Password. The page confirms the email address you were invited as. You can't change it on this screen, so ask the inviter to fix and resend if it's wrong. First name and last name are pre-filled if the inviter typed them in; you can adjust either. Phone is an optional field you can fill in here. Any Job title or Department the inviter entered are stored on your profile but not shown on this form.
  3. Click Create account.

You're signed in and land on the dashboard.

If the link says it's invalid or expired, ask the inviter for a fresh one.

Signing in

  1. Go to the sign-in page.
  2. Enter your Email and Password.
  3. Click Sign in.

If you signed up but haven't clicked the verification link, sign-in sends you to the Check your email screen. Open the email titled "Verify your FloorSimple email" and click the link, then return to sign in. The verification link is valid for 7 days from sign-up. If you lost the email or let it expire, click Resend verification email on the Check-your-email screen; the previous link stops working once you do.

If you see "Too many failed attempts": FloorSimple slows repeated wrong-password tries to protect your account. Wait the indicated time (up to 1 hour after many attempts), or use Forgot password? to reset and continue. A successful reset clears the wait.

Resetting a forgotten password

  1. Click Forgot password? on the sign-in page.
  2. Enter your Email, click Send reset link.
  3. The page confirms with a generic message: it won't tell you whether the address is on file.
  4. Open the email and click the reset link.
  5. Enter and confirm a new password, click Update password.
  6. You're returned to sign-in. Sign in with the new password.

If the address on file isn't yours anymore, ask your shop owner to update it.

Signing out

Click your avatar at the bottom of the sidebar → Log out.
