What customers see

What the recipient sees when they open a public quote or invoice link.

When you email a quote or invoice, or share a public link, the recipient opens a public view of the document. They don't need to sign in.

What they see:

  • A header with the FloorSimple wordmark and a Download PDF button. (Custom shop branding on customer-facing pages is on the roadmap.)
  • The document rendered in the same styling as the PDF.

What they don't see:

  • Any other shop data, customers, or documents.
  • Any way to edit.

If you've rotated the link (see Sharing documents) or it's been invalidated some other way, the recipient gets a "This link is invalid or expired" page with a nudge to ask the sender for a fresh one.

Public links last 90 days from the last time they were generated. Rotating resets the clock on the new one.
