1. Create your workspace

  1. Open the sign-up page. The Start free link on the sign-in page goes there.
  2. Fill in Shop name and Email (required), plus a Password of at least 8 characters. First and last name are optional.
  3. Click Create workspace.
  4. Open the verification email titled "Verify your FloorSimple email" and click the link. The link is valid for 7 days.
  5. You'll land on a confirmation screen. Click Continue to sign in.
  6. Sign in with the email and password you just chose.

You land on the dashboard as the new shop's owner, on the Starter (Free) plan.

Heads up. Sign-in is blocked until you verify the email. This keeps bots out and protects your sending reputation. Disposable inbox providers (Mailinator etc.) are rejected at sign-up. If you close the verification tab, the link in your inbox still works; otherwise sign-in sends you back to the "check your email" screen. If the link never arrived or expired, click Resend verification email on that screen for a fresh one. Issuing a new link invalidates the old one, so only the newest message works.

2. Set your shop's basics

Sidebar → Shop settings (/account/shop).

  1. Set Timezone. It drives every date shown in the app. Currency defaults to CAD; switch to USD from the dropdown if you bill in US dollars.
  2. Set Email Reply-To to a mailbox you read (e.g. quotes@yourshop.com). Customer replies to your quotes and invoices land there. It defaults to your account email. Change it if you want replies somewhere else.
  3. Click Save changes.

3. Invite your first teammate (optional)

Sidebar → Users. Click Invite teammate, enter their email, and click Send invitation. They get an email with a 7-day link.

The Starter plan includes one seat (you). To invite anyone else, upgrade from Subscription.

4. Create your first customer

Sidebar → CustomersNew customer. Display name is the only required field. Fill in the rest from the customer's detail page later. See Customers.

5. Build your first quote

Sidebar → QuotesNew quote. Pick the customer you just created, save, then add line items on the Lines tab. When ready, email it from the quote detail page (see Sharing documents).
